Parragirls Project Group


Special Evening Forum
 
On the evening of Thursday 12 March, Bonney Djuric and Christine Green will tell the remarkable story of the Parragirls Project Group which they set up in 2006. The Parramatta Girls Home is Australia's oldest and longest running welfare institution for girls and was once the site of an orphanage for children of the women from the adjacent Female Factory. The Parragirls Project provides a support network for former inmates like Bonney and Christine, and campaigns to lift the profile of this part of our city’s history.
 
All are very welcome to attend.

ACON presents... Exploring Intimacy

Are your engagement with friends and lovers satisfying?
Do you feel at ease with your sense of self?
Do you get lost in intimate relationships?
Can intimacy and mystery co-exist in a relationship?

ACON invites you to a safe and confidential 12 week therapeutic group that will explore how intimacy affects our sense of self, our relationships and our community.

The women's group runs from 6.15 - 8.15pm beginning Wednesday 25 February 2009. The group facilitators are Christine Wilkinson and Ann-Maree Rundle.

Commitment for the duration of the group is essential. Place are limited.
