There is a new collective of young women at Sydney University who have been fighting sexism on campus. Recent discussions on their engagement with the feminist movement and the ongoing disconnect between second and third wave feminists has prompted them to action. They are organising a conference for late November this year to open up a genuine dialogue between all feminist. The conference will address some difficult issues that divide the feminist movement and look at the future of the movement. There will be dialogue on how feminists can find new ways to work together and get involved in campaigns.
To be involved, the first meeting is this Thursday 26 March, Amnesty International Australia's state office
